Contractor brings digital construction opportunities to Nottingham Ahead of its appearance at the East Midlands Property Lunch on Thursday (October 28), contractor Willmott Dixon has opened an immersive digital BIM Cave in its Nottingham office and is inviting customers, designers and students to step into the world of digital construction.
The contractor is responsible for many projects in the region, such as the recently opened custody suite on Radford Road, the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Building and the ongoing demolition of Nottingham’s Broadmarsh shopping centre.
The Digital Open Evening, taking place at the firm’s office at Lock House in Meadow Road on 4 November 2021, will present an opportunity for interested attendees to use a 270-degree building information modelling (BIM) cave. The unique tool aids the design process, helps validate traditional two-dimensional drawings and adds value for customers across the UK.
